READY FOR THE HUNT?

Spooky Season: The Scale Surprise Scavenger Hunt

Starting Location: 1000 Block of Howard Street, Omaha, NE 68102

TOO BIG? TOO SMALL? OR JUST RIGHT?

Imagine something ordinary suddenly looking enormous.

Now picture something huge reduced to the size of your hand.

Spooky Season: The Scale Surprise Scavenger Hunt plays with perspective as you explore Omaha from Howard Street. Your challenge is to reconsider familiar surroundings through size, distance, proportion, and point of view.

You may find that changing where you stand changes everything.

SHRINK IT. STRETCH IT. REFRAME IT.

Along the way, you might follow clues, solve puzzles, experiment with photo perspectives, tackle observation challenges, make location-based discoveries, work through team tasks, or take on creative and spooky-season mini-challenges.

Some prompts may have you thinking big. Others might depend on noticing the smallest detail.

You decide what to complete. Every activity is optional, and you're welcome to skip anything you're unable or uncomfortable doing. Explore at whatever pace works for you.

ONE SMALL THING BEFORE YOU GO...

Your phone matters more than its size.

Charge it fully, check your email, and arrive prepared to explore and participate.

THIS IS A DIGITAL SCAVENGER HUNT.

Your hunt instructions and important event details are sent by email. If they aren't in your inbox, CHECK YOUR SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER before heading out.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the hunt does not include event or attraction admission, parking, transportation, food or drinks, reservations, additional activity or attraction fees, or personal expenses.

KEEP THE SURPRISES INSIDE THE BOUNDARIES

Changing your perspective doesn't change the rules.

Stay in publicly accessible areas and respect property rules, venue instructions, posted notices, local laws, safety guidance, and directions provided at each location. Never enter private or restricted areas or trespass to complete a challenge.

Give other people their space and treat the places you explore with respect.

Start on Howard Street. Change your angle. Play with perspective. Then see just how surprising Omaha can look when size stops behaving the way you expect.
