Make an End Grain Cutting Board

End grain cutting boards are a style that is legendary for toughness and long life. In this two-day class, you will create and finish a one-of-a-kind end grain cutting board. The completed board will measure approximately 10" by 18" by 2" thick. The size and weight will truly make it stand out from cheaper cutting boards you may find. Students will also route out a juice groove and handles and finally apply a food grade finish.

End-Grain Cutting Board AND Knife 2-class option:

Dates and Times:

• 7/25 Cutting Board ONLY: Saturday 7/25 9:30am to 12:30pm and Sunday 7/6 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

• 7/25 Cutting Board and Knife Making Combo: Saturday: 7/25 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (with a lunch break between classes) and Sunday 7/26 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to sand and finish the cutting board.

• 9/26 Cutting Board ONLY: Saturday 9/26 9:30am to 12:30pm and Sunday 9/27 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

• 9/26 Cutting Board and Knife Making Combo: Saturday: 9/26 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (with a lunch break between classes) and Sunday 9/27 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to sand and finish the cutting board.
