Join Stratified Solutions and First American Title Company for the first gathering in Behind the Build, a three-part educational series offering real estate professionals a behind-the-scenes look at an architect-designed custom home as it progresses through construction. Each gathering is approved for one (1) CE credit. Coffee and light bites will be provided.
Hosted onsite at Lyngen Grove, the personal residence of Stratified Solutions President Colby Stephens, this series provides a unique opportunity to step inside the building process, see what's happening beyond the finished surfaces, and gain knowledge you can carry into conversations with your own clients.
Our first gathering takes place during the framing stage of construction. We'll explore how a home's original vision begins taking shape in the field, including design intent, site considerations, framing, structural systems, and some of the key decisions that influence a custom home from the very beginning.
This gathering is designed to be interactive, with opportunities to walk the project, ask questions, exchange perspectives, and connect with other real estate and industry professionals.
Realtors will have the opportunity to earn continuing education credit through First American Title Company for attending this gathering.
Additional CE details and requirements will be provided to attendees.
This is the first of three Behind the Build gatherings:
Part 1 — From Plans to Structure | October
Explore the home's design vision, framing, structural systems, and early construction decisions.
Part 2 — What's Behind the Walls | November
Return before the walls are closed to explore mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, air sealing, insulation, moisture management, and building-science strategies that contribute to comfort, durability, and performance.
Part 3 — From Construction to Completion | March
Experience the completed home and see how the original vision, design decisions, and behind-the-walls construction came together in the finished space.
Our goal with Behind the Build isn't simply to provide a project tour. We want to create an engaging educational experience and an opportunity for meaningful conversation and connection among professionals who help clients make important decisions about their homes.
Space is intentionally limited to 15 guests. We hope you'll join us for the first gathering and continue with us as we follow the home through completion.
Coffee and light morning bites will be provided.
