Wastin' Away - Poolside Jimmy Buffett Tribute in Las Vegas

**Wastin' Away: A Poolside Tribute to Jimmy Buffett

BRAND NEW SHOW - OPENS MAY 24, 2026!**

Las Vegas has found its ultimate summer night out. Wastin' Away: A Poolside Tribute to Jimmy Buffett transforms the iconic poolside setting of The Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park Resort Hotel into a tropical paradise every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night, bringing the timeless music and sun-soaked spirit of Jimmy Buffett to life under the Las Vegas sunset.

Featuring live performances by Jonny Bird, Wastin' Away takes Parrotheads, Parrot Heads, and Jimmy Buffett fans on a musical journey through Jimmy Buffett's greatest hits — the songs that defined a generation of good times, cold drinks, and carefree living. This is the ultimate Margaritaville experience in Las Vegas — trop rock under the stars, Caribbean soul in the desert, and the laid-back Buffett lifestyle brought to life poolside in a way no Las Vegas Strip show can match.

Sing along to the songs you know and love, performed live by Jonny Bird in an open-air poolside setting unlike anything else on the Las Vegas entertainment scene:

• Margaritaville
• Cheeseburger in Paradise
• Fins
• Come Monday
• Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
• Volcano
• Son of a Son of a Sailor
• A Pirate Looks at Forty
• Pencil Thin Mustache
• He Went to Paris
• Why Don't We Get Drunk
• Boat Drinks
• It's Five O'Clock Somewhere
• Knee Deep
• Caribbean Soul

Whether you're a lifelong Parrothead, a devoted Jimmy Buffett fan, a trop rock enthusiast, or simply looking for the most fun, relaxed, and memorable night out in Las Vegas, Wastin' Away delivers an experience that captures everything that made Jimmy Buffett's music legendary. From Margaritaville to the Coral Reefer spirit, this is the Las Vegas tribute show Buffett fans have been waiting for.

Reserved poolside cocktail tables bring you closest to the stage for the full VIP treatment, while General Admission guests enjoy open pool deck access, a live dance floor, and a full bar — because no Jimmy Buffett tribute is complete without a cold drink in hand.

Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip at Alexis Park Resort Hotel, The Modern Showrooms has established itself as the premier destination for classic Las Vegas live entertainment. Wastin' Away joins an acclaimed lineup of original tribute shows as the only poolside Jimmy Buffett tribute experience in Las Vegas — a one-of-a-kind show in a city full of unforgettable nights.

Five o'clock is always somewhere.
