About the Band:

Crooked Shoes is a North Bay alternative rock powerhouse known for their evocative lyrics and muscular musicality. Led by a collaborative spirit that explores the boundaries of the human experience, they have earned a reputation as one of the most compelling new live acts in the region. A Crooked Shoes performance is more than just a show; it’s an immersive experience of original music with occasional deep cut covers you won’t hear anywhere else. Expect a set that moves seamlessly between haunting, cinematic ballads and lurid high-octane anthems. The band’s sound—a "beautiful mess" of gritty rhythms and soaring melodies—creates a captivating tension that keeps the room electric. Led by the sharp, provocative lyricism of Dean Cupp and the musical architecture of Katie Schuch, Crooked Shoes delivers a sound that is as powerful and gritty as it is danceable.

Crooked Shoes' original music is unafraid to confront the "better left unsaid," turning obsession, self-destruction, and malice into potent, unforgettable hooks. Their music is moody yet danceable. This band is not background music. It is a brutal, honest reflection of the dark, compelling forces that drive us when the light "bleeds out from an empty street."
