Some people run for finish lines. Some run for fitness. Some run because coffee tastes even better afterward.

Whatever brought you here, welcome.

The Everyday Athlete Run Club is a weekly gathering for people who believe running is better when it's shared. Every Wednesday morning, we meet at Songbird Coffee & Tea House in downtown Phoenix before heading out for one of two routes: 2.5 miles or 3.5 miles. Whether you're chasing a personal best, returning from an injury, training for your first 5K, or simply looking for people to share a few miles with, you'll find a place here.

We proudly believe there is a spot at the starting line for everybody and every body.

This isn't a race. There are no pace requirements, no expectations, and no pressure to "keep up." We have multiple leaders so nobody has to run alone unless they want to. The goal isn't to finish first. The goal is to make sure everyone finishes with a smile and maybe a new friend.

When the run is over, the real magic begins.

We'll head back to Songbird Coffee & Tea House to enjoy coffee, tea, breakfast burritos, and conversations that often last longer than the run itself. Some of life's best ideas have been born over a cup of coffee after a run. If tea is your thing, don't worry....we promise not to judge. (Okay... maybe just a little. Friendly banter is part of the community.)

Whether you come every week or just when your schedule allows, you'll always be welcomed with encouragement, conversation, and plenty of laughs.
