About This Event

In a time of division and polarization, and amid Pittsburgh’s official United Against Hate Week, come share a meal and celebrate our unity in diversity at the third annual Pittsburgh Community Love Anyway Feast.

The Love Anyway Feast will offer an opportunity to come together as neighbors, connect across our diverse backgrounds, and engage in meaningful conversations that promote understanding and unity. Sharing a meal is a powerful way to discover what holds us together and to begin healing what’s tearing us apart.

Thanks to the support of Common Ground USA, this year's meal is a free, fully-catered feast: simply bring yourself, your family or friends, and a neighbor you hope to know better. Registration is required. If you choose, make a donation when you register to support Frontline Dignity.

Community co-sponsors of the event include Christian Associates of Southwest Pennsylvania, the Center for Loving Kindness at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Stand For All Pittsburgh, and North Hills Community Baptist Church, with more to be added soon.

This event is open to people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs; we actively encourage participation from the whole breadth of our Southwest Pennsylvania community.

The event is part of a nationwide campaign of Common Ground Gatherings by Common Ground USA, an organization committed to building peaceful and inclusive communities across the United States. Attendees will receive a deck of Common Ground USA’s Peacemaker Practices Cards, designed to build skills for civil and respectful dialogue.

The 2025 Pittsburgh Community Love Anyway Feast is also part of greater Pittsburgh’s celebration of United Against Hate Week, a national observance that encourages individuals and organizations to stand up against hate and bias and to work toward creating inclusive environments where everyone belongs. The local sponsor of United Against Hate Week is Stand For All Pittsburgh, a coalition that mobilizes the community of Southwest Pennsylvania to prevent, identify, and address bias and hate incidents to create safety, inclusion and belonging for all. A full calendar of local United Against Hate Week events is available at unitedagainsthateweek.org/events-calendar-pa.

Join us as we set aside differences, break bread, and build a stronger, united community at the Love Anyway Feast.
