Halloween Open Mic Night and Trivia Night!

A welcoming space for performers of all ages, backgrounds, and identities to share music, poetry, comedy, storytelling, and more in a supportive, judgment-free environment. All arts are welcome (keep them audience-appropriate, as we want this to be a safe space for all ages this Halloween season!)!

The schedule:

• 6:30-7PM: Doors open! Grab a seat, mix and mingle, sign up to perform, order a drink/snack, and get ready for a wonderful night ahead!
• 7-9:45PM: Open mic + trivia night! Performers can sign up here to reserve your spot, or sign up at the door if there is room left. (Please keep sets to 8 minutes or less.) Three breaks throughout the performances with 3 trivia questions each... sign up as a group or solo (winning person/team wins a $20 Filomena's gift card!)
• 9:45PM-Close: Free 5-minute tarot readings with @bittenscrafty! (Visit them at their table anytime after open mic performances end... first come, first served!)
• 10:15-10:30PM: Costume contest! Each person will get about 30 seconds to catwalk onstage to a song of your choice and dance or pose like the fashion icon you are! All are welcome to participate, even if you don't have the most elaborate costume... we encourage everyone to use this opportunity to celebrate themselves and be celebrated by our audience! Winner gets a $20 Filomena's gift card (voted on by the audience... so bring your friends to cheer extra loud for you!)

Additionally, we will be offering a list of surprise challenges to encourage everyone to have the most fun possible at our event! Accomplish any three of our challenges and earn yourself a free prize to take home.

Tickets for this special Halloween-edition mic night are $15 (+ fees) on EventBrite or in cash at the door, in order to pay our staff and offer our free tarot readings/prizes (since Find The Whimsy is completely funded by ticket costs and donations). However, we also have a Pay-What-You-Can option to make this event accessible for all!
