About your host, Diane Monaco, RYT 500

I have been practicing yoga my whole life and teaching yoga for 15+ years. I teach Hatha yoga, a gentle slow flow class focusing on the breath.

I received my 500-hour certification in Cleveland where I was born and raised. My husband and I had a lifelong dream to retire to this area and have been here for 6 years. I love this area, the hustle and bustle of the summer months to the calm, serene and peaceful months of winter.

My passion is to teach and share the gift of yoga to others. I am also certified in Reiki and will incorporate this into my classes. I like to focus on the awareness of your breath, isolating muscles and letting you know what muscles you are stretching. I will teach you different breathing techniques that will help in daily living. I will also help you focus your mind on the power of relaxation, which I believe is the most important part of your yoga practice.
