Intro to Wood Router

This 2-hour familiarization class will teach you how to assemble & disassemble the router, types of bits, insertion into the router table, and use both in the router table and as a handheld tool. The class is discussion-based, not project-based. If you have your own router and want to explore how to assemble & disassemble, feel free to bring it.

About the instructor:

Mark Stewart is a proud Maine native and lifelong woodworker who began learning the craft alongside his father while helping with home repairs and renovations. Inspired by his junior high industrial arts teacher, he went on to earn a B.S. in Technology Education from the University of Southern Maine. He has taught middle school Technology Education and Adult Community Education woodworking, and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and love of the craft with others.
