Why We're Gathering

Some families never imagine their first years of parenthood will be spent in hospital rooms instead of playgrounds.

At just three months old, Florence was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. She received a life-saving liver transplant at only five months old. Today, at two years old, she continues to face transplant complications that require ongoing medical care and specialized treatment.

Her parents, Lina and Mike, have spent the last two years doing everything they can to give their daughter the healthiest future possible. Along the way, they've made tremendous sacrifices, including Lina stepping away from work to care for Florence full-time.

No family should have to carry a burden like this alone.

That's why we created ENTRE MUJERES.

This evening is about showing up for one another. Every raffle ticket, silent auction bid, purchase from a local vendor, Supporter Ticket, and donation helps ease the financial burden on Florence's family while reminding them they're surrounded by a community that cares.
