Eat & Be Well 2026: Meal Preparation Team! (BYO Can Opener)

About this event

On Sunday, November 22nd, 2026 our team will be prepping Thanksgiving meals to be handed out to community members in Fontana, CA, on Wednesday, November 25th, 2026. We plan on serving over 1,200 meals to families in the Inland Empire, and we will need all the help we can get by opening canned veggies and shredding turkeys! This is a great opportunity to join the team at Project Boon and play an important role in our biggest event of the year!

**Please bring your own can opener if possible!**

What do I do when I arrive at the event? Volunteers will be asked to park in the Hitch Burger Parking Lot. Once you enter the restaurant, a team member will be ready to assign you a position, and then you'll be all set! We will be working in the restaurant patio, so please dress according to the weather that day.

What is the minimum age to volunteer? You must be at least 14 years of age, accompanied by an adult chaperone, to volunteer at Eat & Be Well. There are no exceptions to this rule.
