What does a day of learning at Acton actually look like?

Come inside Acton Academy Silicon Valley for an Open House designed to let you see how our K–8 program works in practice.

At Acton, learners build strong academic foundations while also learning to set goals, work with others, make decisions, and take increasing responsibility for their learning. Guides don't simply stand at the front of a classroom delivering the same lesson to everyone. They design the learning environment, monitor progress, ask questions, and provide guidance and challenge when learners need it.

During the Open House, your family can:

• Explore our studios (classrooms) and see where learning happens
• Experience a mini Quest and see how learners approach a problem without beginning with all the answers
• Meet our Guides and talk with current Acton families
• Join a conversation with Head of School Mo Iqbal about how Acton's approach works in practice
• See how we prepare children for life, not just tests

Come see what school looks like when children are challenged to solve problems and work together with real accountability and Guides there to mentor them.
