Workshop Description:
Step into the creative world of cosplay fabrication with our hands-on workshop, “3D Printed Cosplay & Props: Upgrading Your Costumes with 3D Printing.” This 90‑minute session is perfect for anyone curious about using 3D printing to elevate their costumes, props, and character builds. Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer, a maker looking to expand your skills, or a fan eager to bring your favorite designs into the real world, this workshop offers an accessible and inspiring introduction.
What You'll Learn:
Who Should Attend: This workshop is ideal for cosplayers, makers, hobbyists, students, and anyone excited about combining creativity with technology. No prior 3D printing or design experience is required, but some introductory information will be skipped in this class.
What to Bring: A laptop with a mouse is recommended, but not required. We have laptops available for students to use during class. You may also want a way to take notes or pull up examples of projects. We’ll provide the guidance, examples, and will use Bambu Studio as the slicer of choice for any walk-throughs.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with the knowledge and confidence to start incorporating 3D printing into your own cosplay and prop projects.
