Have you ever been interested in trying welding in a safe and encouraging environment? This is your chance to learn a new skill and leave with a finished piece to display in your home.
The MHR Welding Workshop is designed to explore the fundamentals of MIG welding and use of essential shop tools through the unique experience of crafting your own steel rose sculpture.
This isn’t a “sip and paint” class. Welding is hands-on and dirty, but empowering. Safety comes first in our shop, but fun is not far behind. Expect sparks, steel dust, and a little magic. Safety gear will be provided, but please wear close-toed shoes and jeans or thick pants that you’re not afraid to get stained or dirty. No loose clothing and make sure hair is tied back for safety in the shop.
Your registration (per person) includes:
· All materials/tools needed to complete the project will be provided for your use
· Safety gear for use
· A swag bag
· A finished steel flower sculpture to take with you (rose)
· A good time
· Charcuterie snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
One ticket required per person.
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Ages 18+, no childcare.
Come learn to weld and leave with a new set of skills, a finished piece, and the bragging rights that go with it.
*Promotional video shows class basics. Flower sculpture will differ. Please make sure you've chosen the class with the flower sculpture you are interested in.
Get ready to explore the Home of Pet Pigs - it's going to be a snout-standing and oink-tastic experience!
