CicloRiverside Arts Walk - BZP Riverside Volunteer Opportunity

Meanwhile, join us for ArtsWalk, a monthly celebration of creativity, community, and movement happening every first Thursday from 6pm - 9pm, located on Main St. between 5th St. and 10th St.

As part of CicloRiverside, we're bringing out our one-of-a-kind Art Bike, a human-powered bike that turns pedaling into painting, creating swirling, one-of-a-kind paint circles right before your eyes.

We need energetic volunteers to help us run our table, keep the Art Bike spinning, and spread the word about CicloRiverside to everyone who walks by. It's a hands-on, feel-good shift where you'll get to talk with your neighbors, make some art, and help build a healthier, more connected Riverside — all while having a blast.

No art experience needed. Just bring your energy and a smile!

The Role: Art Bike & Outreach Volunteer

What you'll be doing:

• Power the paint — help set up and operate the Art Bike, guiding participants as they pedal to create their own colorful paint-circle masterpiece
• Keep it spinning — assist with basic bike upkeep during the event (wiping down paint, refilling supplies, keeping the area tidy)
• Spread the word — hand out stickers and flyers, and chat with passersby about upcoming CicloRiverside events
• Be the friendly face — welcome visitors to the table, answer basic questions, and help create a fun, welcoming vibe

What we're looking for:

• Friendly, outgoing personality — you enjoy talking to strangers and making people feel welcome
• Comfortable standing/moving around for the shift and doing light physical activity (helping guide the bike, handing out materials)
• Reliable and on time
• Bonus if you're passionate about art, biking, community health, or Riverside pride!
