Have you ever wondered what Freemasonry is, what happens inside a Masonic Lodge, or what lies behind the doors of San Antonio’s historic Scottish Rite Building?
Alamo Lodge No. 44 invites you to join us for our quarterly open house on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, in the Scottish Rite Library & Museum Building in downtown San Antonio.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the building on a guided tour, visit the Alamo Lodge room, meet local Freemasons, and ask questions in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Learn about the history of Freemasonry, the principles that guide the fraternity, its role in the community, and what membership means to the men who call Alamo Lodge home.
- Dinner will be served at 6:15 PM, and the tour will start at 7:00 PM.
- Recommended Dress Code: Business Casual, but don't let that stop you.
Whether you are interested in becoming a Mason, curious about the fraternity, enjoy local history and architecture, or have simply never toured the Scottish Rite Building, we would be glad to welcome you.
This event is:
Come see the building, meet the men behind the fraternity, and discover one of San Antonio’s historic Masonic institutions.
