Kensington Comedy Night

Kensington Comedy Night is San Diego’s hottest free stand-up show, happening every Saturday at 7:30PM at Mission Brewing Kensington. 🎤🍻 Each week features a brand-new lineup of top comics bringing the laughs, while you kick back with craft beer, hard seltzers, or wine. There’s never a cover charge—just a packed room, great drinks, and nonstop comedy energy that makes Saturday nights unforgettable.

At Slap Diego, we don’t just stack names on a flyer and hope it works. Every lineup is hand-picked to hit that perfect mix—rising local talent, nationally touring comics, and headliners who can blow the roof off. And the best part? We’re not a comedy club. That means no two-drink minimums, and no overpriced cocktails—just nonstop laughs every week!

KENSINGTON, MEET YOUR SATURDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENT.

This week, DICK SALAS rolls into Mission Brewing with a microphone, a Marine Corps background, and the stage presence of a former rock frontman.

A Marine veteran and former lead singer for a house band at Hollywood’s legendary Whisky a Go Go, Dick brings that live-performance energy straight to the comedy stage. The stories. The crowd work. The unexpected turns. This man knows how to work a crowd, and he’s coming to Kensington ready to make some noise.

His credits include a comedy special on VetTV, Urban Soul TV, and Chicano Hollywood. His style? Animated, unpredictable, and built for a room that’s ready to have a good time. This Saturday, you get him up close at Mission Brewing.
