Do not miss the inaugural World Deaf & Disabled Dance Film Festival (WDDDFF)
When: Friday November 6th-Saturday November 7th at YBCA Screening Room (Yerba Buena Center for the Arts) in San Francisco.
We are incredibly excited about this year’s program. 28 selected films. Different countries. Different languages. Different bodies. Different experiences. Different ways of communicating and creating. The World Deaf and Disabled Dance Film Festival was created to give Deaf and Disabled dance filmmakers a place to show their work. Give Deaf and Disabled artists a place to share their stories, their movement, and their truth. WDDDFF is about creating a space where Deaf and Disabled artists are not treated as an afterthought. Our stories, movement, languages, cultures, bodies, experiences, and artistic visions belong on the screen and at the center of the conversation.
