Join us in celebrating 45 years of magic!

A beloved San Rafael holiday tradition returns with a new date this year as the City of San Rafael prepares to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Winter Wonderland on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

For 45 years, Winter Wonderland has brought families, residents, businesses, and visitors together in Downtown San Rafael for an evening of holiday fun. In honor of this milestone anniversary, the City of San Rafael’s Recreation team, in partnership with the Downtown Business Improvement District, will be producing the event. We aim to bring new ideas, activities, and energy to preserve and strengthen this longtime community tradition.

The celebration will be a free and family-friendly event. This year’s celebration will feature an array of winter-themed activities, entertainment, and holiday experiences for all ages.
