An Evening of Neo Soul : Let The Caged Bird Sing IV

Welcome to this beloved annual offering from the Musical Soulmates Performers Collaborative! Paradigm-shifting and radically beautiful Neo Soul music end-to-end, this event is a deep dive into songs of tenacity, liberation, and solidarity. The evening raises awareness locally for Walnut Avenue Family and Women's Center and Monarch Services, underscoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The expressive mastery of musicians Candace Johnson, Jazz LeiAmora, Duhran Wilson, Anthony Jones, Michelle Nash, Ariel Thiermann, Etienne Franc, Kate Saphir, and Zack Olsen brings healing and joy to all. Look forward to hearing rarely performed music by titans such as Raheem DeVaughn, Lauryn Hill, and Jill Scott, and by less well-known but trailblazing artists AUTUMN the Band, Tunde Olaniran and many others.
