Kirtan for Cause: A fundraiser for START Rescue!

Join Hannah and Bryn, friends and Kirtan musicians based in Santa Cruz, for a special benefit Kirtan as we fundraise for START Rescue! START transports animals facing euthansia in overcrowded shelters to regions with shelter space to offer, saving lives and giving animals the second chance they deserve. As animal lovers with rescued companions, it means a lot to us to be able to do something we love—chanting and bringing people together—to support animals in need.

By donation (we suggest $22*). No one turned away for lack of funds—come sing!
Thank you so much to Carl Reuter for joining us on percussion!"

More about START Rescue:Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team (START) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization that gives shelter animals a second chance through life-saving transport missions.START Rescue coordinates large-scale transport missions to save cats and dogs facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters across California, transporting up to 100 animals at a time to rescue partners in the Pacific Northwest, where there is shelter space and demand for rescued companions.
