Friday Music/Poetry Open Mic Happy Hour - Downtown Santa Rosa

Every Friday | 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Looking for a music open mic in Santa Rosa? Come spend Happy Hour with us every Friday at Barrel Proof Lounge, where local musicians, poets, songwriters, and creatives take over the stage.

Whether you're performing your latest song, reading a poem, trying stand-up storytelling, or just enjoying the atmosphere, everyone is welcome.

Don't have an instrument?

We've got you covered.

Unlike most open mics, we provide a full backline, so you can show up and perform without hauling your entire setup across town.

Available equipment includes:

🥁 3-piece drum kit

🎸 Electric & acoustic guitars

🪕 Banjo

🎻 Mandolin

🎤 Professional microphones

🎛️ Full PA and sound system

Just bring your talent (or your courage) and we'll help with the rest.

Performance Times

🎵 Music — up to 10 minutes

📖 Poetry & Spoken Word — 5-7 minutes

Original music, cover songs, spoken word, storytelling, folk, punk, indie, Americana, blues, country, rock, experimental... if it belongs on a stage, we want to hear it.

Just Want to Listen?

Grab a drink, relax, and discover local talent during Happy Hour. Every week brings new performers, new songs, and new voices. It's a great way to meet other musicians, connect with the local arts community, or simply enjoy live entertainment before your Friday night gets started.
