100+ artists. One extraordinary building. One big weekend.
The Big Open is your chance to wander through the studios of more than 100 Bay Area fine artists, all under one roof on the Sausalito waterfront.
Painting. Sculpture. Photography. Fiber. Printmaking. Jewelry. And art that refuses to fit neatly into a category.
Once a year, ICB artists open their studios for a weekend visitors plan around and return to year after year. Many of the artists you’ll meet here exhibit nationally and internationally, with work in galleries, museums, and collections around the world.
The building hums. Hear the stories behind the art that’s speaking to you. Turn a corner and find something you didn’t know you were looking for.
Whether you’re buying your first piece, adding to a collection, sourcing art for a client, or simply want to spend a few hours surrounded by an astonishing range of original art, this is the weekend to do it.
Designer’s rave:
“This is the most happening art scene in the Bay Area. It’s all right here.”
