Workshop Summary: We will be working on making a clay phone stand. You can choose anything that fits your vibe: an animal, a shape, a character, or something completely made up. We will shape the forms together and then get them fired in the kiln. Once the firing is done, you will be able to come back to the mill, pick up your piece, and head to the storage area to grab paint and Mod Podge so you can customize your final creation.
Location + Check-In Instructions: Workshop will be at The Mill. Please make sure to check-in and swipe your Husky card at the front desk. Make sure to check your email for additional info on where we will be meeting specifically in the makerspace, on the day of your workshop.
Workshop Length: about 2 hours
What to bring/Safety: wear close-toed shoes, no necklaces or dangly earrings, and ensure any hair or headscarves are pulled back/pinned back so nothing is hanging in front of you. Please also note that working with clay can be messy, so consider attire that you won’t mind getting dirty.
