Sip + Sketch Sundays — Figure Drawing at The Octopus Bar

Sip, sketch, or just hang out.

Every Sunday, choose from two casual, rotating figure-drawing sessions at The Octopus Bar: 4–6PM and 6–8PM.

No formal instruction, no pressure—just a space to draw, observe, or participate however you want.

How it works:

• 6 rotating models

• 15-minute poses

• relaxed, come-and-go format

You can:

• draw

• grab food + drinks

• sign up to pose (15 minutes = a drink on us)

No experience needed. Seriously.

No supplies? No problem. Bring your own, or add a $10 paper-and-pencil kit when you RSVP.

Come early if you’d like to grab a model slot.

This is a space to be seen—or not. Both are welcome.

HOW IT STARTED

Starr has been selling her art at The Octopus Bar since we opened, so collaborating on an art event felt natural. Sip + Sketch started as a small monthly meetup. Then we tucked one question into an Instagram post—“Anyone wanna model?”—and 60 of you said YES!!!!!
