The Creative Self: Watercolour Meetup

In a world saturated with screens and notifications, it's time to take a break and reconnect with the simple joys of life. This event will encourage your creative spirit a bit. Immerse yourself in the realm watercolour painting, with fun pigments, and tranquil conversations.

This is an informal gathering to connect with others, unplug from our devices, and nurture our creative souls.

The inspiration for these sessions for Kate is the opportunity to hang out with those who are ready for a break from the hustle and bustle, to slow down, create together, have conversations, and hopefully make some new acquaintances in this big city of ours!

Kate will kick off the event with a few techniques for getting started, especially for those who are new to watercolour. She will also bring supplies for those who may need them.

If you already have your own supplies, consider bringing these items for the event.

• Watercolour paints
• Watercolour pencils/pens
• Watercolour brushes
• Water cup / paper towels
• Watercolour paper as thick as you can afford, Cold Press 300g or 140lbs is the best.

Experience Level: This event is open to all experience levels.

Event Fee: Kate will ask for donations at the event for those who want to help her cover the costs of the supplies she shares.
