An Evening with The Puzzler — Dinner Theatre at The Fat Cat

The Puzzler is an award-winning one-act play by Smithville playwright Will Holcomb. Blanch, a self-centered woman doing court-ordered community service at a nursing home, sits down with Weldon, one of the residents, to work on a jigsaw puzzle. Weldon sees the world differently than most people. What starts as Blanch's attempt to avoid real work becomes something neither of them expected.

The evening unfolds across six scenes with a five-course meal served between them, and live music by Ally Taylor to carry you through each course. Christie Branch and Ronnie Lanier reprise their roles as Blanch and Weldon.

The Puzzler won the Audience Acclaim Award at TexFest 2023 and has been called life-changing, funny, and deeply moving by audiences across Texas.

A five course meal will be served throughout the evening ands is included in the ticket price. Drinks not included. Wine, beer, and soft drinks available.
