Presented by Efik Flavours
Calabar Food Fest is bringing the flavours, stories and traditions of Efik cuisine to Georgia. Get ready to explore amazing dishes, live cooking demos, cultural dances, games and plenty of fun. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just curious, the Calabar Food Festival is your ticket to experiencing authentic flavors and vibrant culture. Don’t miss out!
We are inviting members of our community to take part in a live cooking experience. You do not have to be Efik by birth to participate. If you are connected to Efik culture through marriage, parents, grandparents, family heritage or another meaningful connection, you are welcome to register as a participating cook.
Each participating cook will choose ONE dish from selected dishes for the Food Fest and prepare it as part of a live cooking demonstration. The Efik Flavours cookbook will serve as the cooking guide, and the cookbook’s author will be present at the event to support, guide and interact with participating cooks throughout the experience.
This is not a cooking competition. It is a celebration of food, heritage, family and the different ways people become connected to Efik culture. If you're learning to make Efik dishes, we would be delighted to have you participate.
Please complete the form below to indicate your interest.
