About This Event

It’s our favorite time of year! This is our 15th Annual Navajo County Attorney’s Office Victims’ Rights Symposium. This year our theme is "Voices of Strength, Inspiring Change".

Symposium is a full-day local training for local partner agencies who work with victims of crime and the community about topics that impact victims of crime.

This event will be held in person. We have a keynote presenter in the morning, followed by 4 breakout workshops that will be about an hour and 15 minutes long. The breakout workshops are repeated in the morning and in the afternoon.

Booths from our presenters and victim service partners will be set up for attendees to visit during breaks.

Keynote Speaker: Rachel Jeffs "Understanding Religious Extremism, Exploitation, and Survivor Healing"

Rachel was born and raised in the FLDS cult and was the daughter of the leader, Warren Jeffs. After suffering years of sexual abuse at his hands, mind conditioning, and a forced polygamist marriage. She escaped in 2015 with her five children. Since then she has published a book and devoted her life to helping others escape similar circumstances.

For information about Rachels presentation please visit our website listed below.
