Reiki Infused Sound Journey

🎶 Reiki Infused Sound Journey: An Active Meditation Experience

🗓️ Date: Saturday, November 14th (2026) ⏰ Time: 10am-12pm 📍 Location: Liverpool Art Center 305 Vine St. Liverpool, NY 13088 across from the Retreat Restaurant inside the Liverpool Village Mall Suite 7.

✨ Journey into Deep Restorative Healing (Even if you're not a meditator!)

Join us for a deeply restorative and accessible evening of Reiki-infused Sound Journey. This session is specifically designed to welcome anyone who is new to energy healing or new to meditation, offering a gentle and profound entry point into self-care and inner peace.

We create a sacred, cozy space in the studio surrounded by color and soft light, floor mats, and you bring your comforting blankets and pillows. We invite you to feel inspired, supported, and set an intention to receive the healing vibrations.

🌟 What to Expect (25min. prep and connection, 45min sound healing, 20min. grounding experience)

1. Reiki Infusion: As you relax, a continuous stream of hands-off Reiki energy will be channelled into the room. Reiki is a gentle, Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing by balancing your natural energy. You may experience sensations of warmth, deep calm, or emotional release.
2. Immersive Sound Bath: Our journey utilizes the powerful vibrations of Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Native Flutes, and Frame Drums. These instruments create a sonic landscape that helps shift your brainwaves into deep states of relaxation (Theta and Delta), supporting emotional release, stress relief, and cellular regeneration.
3. Preparation and Grounding: Each Creative Rhythms Sound Healing Event offers prep time for getting the mind and body into a receptive healing state before we lie down for the sound journey. Following the sound journey, the group will enjoy a beautiful grounding session using the senses to bring your mind into the present while we share about our experiences. Hearing about others' experiences can bring inspiration and deepen connection following a group healing session!

Are you new to sound journey or active meditation?

If the thought of sitting still in silence feels intimidating, you are not alone! We believe meditation is for everyone, and that's why we incorporate elements of Active Meditation into our practice. The sound healing methods offered during Creative Rhythms Events are based on beginner meditators who often struggle to find stillness because of busy or racing throughts.

Moving Beyond Stillness

Active Meditation is a dynamic form of practice where we engage the body to help quiet the mind. It uses simple gentle movement, sound, and/or focused intentions to give your mind a point of concentration, making it easier to drop into a meditative state.

In this session, the Sound Journey and Reiki Infusion are forms of Active Meditation:

• Sound Journey (Active Listening): The beautiful, resonant tones of the instruments provide a constant, shifting focus for your attention. Instead of struggling to clear your mind, you actively listen and allow the sounds to wash over you, effortlessly guiding you into a deep state of relaxation.
• Reiki Infusion (Active Receiving): During the session, the gentle flow of Reiki energy is an active, palpable experience. As you lie down, you focus on receiving this energy, noticing the sensations of warmth, tingling, or deep peace in your body. This act of "receiving" is a powerful anchor for your present-moment awareness.

Why Active Meditation is great for beginners: It gives your mind something to do (listen, feel), which makes it less likely to wander into daily concerns, helping you feel comfortable and engaged.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable clothing, your own pillow and blanket. We have mats.
• A curious mind and open heart.
• Bringing a waterbottle and eye mask may be helpful for healing a deep relaxation.
