About This Event
Classic Movie Night: Cool Hand Luke
Join emcee and local film enthusiast John Alexander for Classic Movie Night at The Virginia, featuring the 1967 American classic Cool Hand Luke, starring Paul Newman in one of his most iconic roles.
After being sentenced to a Southern prison camp for a petty crime, Luke Jackson refuses to conform to the harsh rules and expectations of prison life. His unwavering independence and rebellious spirit inspire his fellow inmates while putting him on a collision course with the prison authorities. Featuring unforgettable performances by Paul Newman, George Kennedy, and Strother Martin, Cool Hand Luke is a timeless story of resilience, freedom, and the human spirit that remains one of the greatest American films ever made.
