Hi! 👋 I am Faith Hanna–herbalist, professor, and creator and curator of the newly-opened Living Museum of Herbal Wisdom. This petite garden and space is where we enjoy, gather, receive, weave, and share the wisdom of people, plants, and land.
On Sunday, October 25th, we are hosting a tour, tea, and medicine making class specially-priced for college students.
You are welcome to join for the tour/tea, and if you'd like, you can also join for the medicine making portion where we will be tea-blending. I'll guide you through a fun time rummaging our hands into beautiful bowls of plants and let you know about the medicinal properties, lore, and also any contraindications for the plants we'll be working with.
Important: Please bring your own mixing bowl (and any herbs/plants you'd like to work with, though there are also plenty here, all included, along with a 16 oz mason jar)
What’s included: Entrance to the museum/medicinal garden, tea/a medicinal garden tour, and, for the Make Your Own Medicine portion, a guided experience making your own herbal tea with high-quality/locally grown plants that you'll take home in a 16 oz mason jar.
A note on wellness: We're a close-knit, hands-on group. If you're feeling even slightly under the weather, please sit this one out and join us at a future event.
Important note on refunds: Because we book the space and buy materials ahead of time, we can only offer refunds if you cancel a full week before the event.
