About the Book

She was never meant to wear a crown.
He was never meant to kneel.

When mortal healer Elara Veyne is torn from her shattered village and taken to the deadly Thorn Court, she discovers her fate is bound to Caelen Duskryn, the feared Fae king whose power is woven from shadow, ancient magic, and prophecy.

As an impossible bond awakens between them, Elara is drawn into a world of dangerous courts, political betrayal, forgotten magic, and a destiny long hidden. With every truth she uncovers, the line between enemy and ally begins to blur—and the kingdom that claimed her may not be the one she was born to save.

As ancient powers stir and long-buried secrets come to light, Elara must choose between the life she thought she wanted and the crown she was never meant to claim.

Because some destinies aren't discovered.

They're remembered.
