A Tri-Cities Murder Mystery

What is a murder mystery?

Murder mystery is a guessing game. The goal is to correctly guess who the murderer is. You'll be assigned one of two roles: a character in the story (given to you five minutes prior to the start of the story), or, a non-character participant.

Both roles will be given cards with ‘tasks’ on them. 'Tasks' involve asking other characters questions, so you'll be walking around the room, speaking with other characters. Every character is a suspect.

Completing your tasks will provide clues for solving the crime. You’ll have roughly one hour to complete your tasks. Then, at the end of the story, you’ll cast your vote for who you suspect as the murderer!

You'll be given more instructions in person five minutes prior to the start of the story (it's very simple!).

Dress Code:

This is a casual event, so come dressed casual if you would like! But if you're feeling adventurous, this is a Wild West murder mystery, so themed attire is highly encouraged.

Since you won't know who your character is until a few minutes before the story starts, don't worry about trying to dress the exact part. General western-themed attire works (cowboy hats, flannel, boots, etc.). We will provide props/costumes for each character, so they'll be available if you want.
