2818 Industrial Plaza Drive #STE H, Tallahassee, FL 32301Tallahassee, FL

About This Event

This is a basic level class that will introduce you to the 2 types of lasers in the F2 Ultra, the xTool software, laser safety, basic operation of the tool, and Making Awesome's safety protocols. You'll engrave a slate coaster as the class project so start thinking of a design! A laptop is required for this class and you need to have it with you. We expect you to follow along in the software during the class and design your own project.

  • This class is open to Making Aawesome members and the public.
  • You must wear closed-toe shoes.
  • Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
  • A laptop capable of running xTool Studio (most newer Mac and Windows devices) is required for this class and you need to have it with you. You will not be certified if you do not bring a device.
  • The F2 Ultra has a huge range of capabilities and while we'll mention many of them, we can't cover them all in this introductory class. We will leave you with resources to further your learning.
