ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

Loretta Chefchaouni is a former early childhood educator from Florida who writes for teens. Her fantastical tales turn grief and fear into myth and monsters and explore all the scary parts of being human within the safe space of stories. She is made of coffee stains and cat fur, and if you were to cut her open, you'd find a marshmallow center. THE LUSTROUS DARK is her debut novel.

L.L. Kirchner is an award-winning screenwriter and Pushcart-nominated author whose life and work as an expat in Asia became the basis of two memoirs, Blissful Thinking: A Memoir of Overcoming the Wellness Revolution and American Lady Creature: (My) Change in the Middle East. In 2024, she released her highly anticipated trilogy, the Queenpin Chronicles, starting with her debut novel, FLORIDA GIRLS, followed by VEGAS GIRLS and HAVANA GIRLS, both in 2025. Her newest psychological suspense, THE CRITIC, the first book in her new Steel City Mysteries series set in Pittsburgh’s 1990s arts world, released in June 2026. With vivid prose and richly drawn characters, Kirchner shines a light on the patriarchal and self-imposed boundaries women face, while celebrating the strength of those who dare to break free.

Sandie Will is a multi-award winning author of psychological thrillers/horror, with her newest thriller, THE CAGING OF DOLORES STONE (Prequel to THE CAGING AT DEADWATER MANOR) releasing October 2026. She loves tapping into people's fears to scare us all and make us cringe. She lives in the Tampa Bay Area, and works as a geologist by day and a writer at night. Her down times are spent with her husband of over 30 years, family, and pets. Road trips with Sandie should be avoided as she’s been known to demand endless stops at road cuts to satisfy her geology cravings and teach her companions everything they never wanted to know about the Earth.
