Beneath the Words: A Primal Sound Medicine Journey

Some truths are not discovered through thinking. They are felt—quietly waiting beneath the words.

Beneath the Words is a deeply immersive primal sound medicine journey created to help you move beyond the noise of the thinking mind, listen inward, and reconnect with what your body and heart already know.

This experience takes place during a meaningful period of astrological reflection. With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and Venus retrograde in Libra, the surrounding themes invite us to gently revisit communication, relationships, emotional patterns, and the truths we may not yet have found the words to express.

Rather than asking you to analyze, explain, or share what arises, this journey offers space to simply listen.

Through grounding rhythm, earthy percussion, resonant instruments, wooden tongue drum, chimes, and spacious silence, Cherie will guide you through an unfolding experience of inward listening, emotional release, and gentle rebalancing.

Nothing needs to be solved or forced. You are invited to notice what is ready to be heard, what may be ready to soften, and what wants to return to balance.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The 90-minute experience will include:

• A guided arrival and grounding practice
• Slow, earthy rhythms to settle the thinking mind
• An immersive primal sound medicine journey
• Layered percussion and resonance to support movement and release
• Wooden tongue drum and chimes to restore flow and inner harmony
• Spacious silence for rest and integration

“Primal” does not mean harsh or aggressively loud. It describes an earthy, instinctive, and embodied sound experience designed to reach beneath our usual thoughts and carefully chosen words.

You will not be asked to disclose or discuss anything personal. This is your own inward journey.

No previous meditation or sound-healing experience is needed.

WHAT TO BRING

Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything you need to rest comfortably, such as a blanket, pillow, bolster, or eye covering. We have yoga mats however you are also welcome to bring your own.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so you have time to settle into the space. Doors will close when the journey begins to preserve the experience for everyone.

This event is open to participants ages 16 and older.
