Join the Association for the Prevention of Sickle Cell Anemia, INC. — APSCA INC. — on Saturday, November `14, 2026, for the Boots on the Ground Sickle Cell Reception, a special fundraising event recognizing Sickle Cell Awareness and APSCA INC.’s expanding work throughout Maryland.

We will be honoring Bernie Vaughn and Reginald Bishop and more.....

This energetic and welcoming reception will bring together sickle cell community and supporters for an evening of live music, line dancing, networking, sickle cell awareness, food, fun, and community connection.

Most importantly, this fundraiser supports APSCA INC.’s awareness, advocacy, patient navigation, emergency assistance, travel support, community outreach, and other resources for individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait.
