Middle School aged children are invited to join Certified Positivity Coach and former teacher, Christy Smith, to learn a variety of tips for handling friend drama, bullying, stress management and more to help with the most common challenges of middle school. Our goal is to provide the tools to build resilience, self-acceptance and confidence in tweens as they begin their teen years.
We look forward to welcoming your child for this free event at the Empowering U Center at 511 W Main Street in Trappe. Our building is located near the yellow flashing light at 5th Ave. Parking is in the rear and we do have a ramp for access. Parents are welcome to stay in a separate room but will not be in the sessions with the tweens.
We are a charity, so a $5 donation is always welcomed to help us provide this programs to the public for free.
Our charity also owns the So Much to Give Cafe on Skippack Pike, just one mile south of Skippack Village, where we employ dozens of individuals with disabilities! Check it out at www.SoMuchtoGiveCafe.org. Bingo, Trivia and live music!
Our theme for Novembers group is gratitude!
