Women+ on the Edge of Democracy Traverse City is an in-person event for the local community. Doors open at 6:30, performance starts promptly at 7pm.
About the event
Democracy is shaped not only at the ballot box, but wherever people gather to ask difficult questions, listen to one another, and imagine a different future. Women+ on the Edge of Democracy invites communities to spark these conversations in theaters, libraries, schools, community centers, and public spaces across the country.
We are proud to partner with TIES, a brand new 501(c)3 created to support Traverse City, Grand Traverse County and Northern Michigan by creating a safe equitable and thriving community for all with a mission to transform civic education into civic power by empowering everyday people with the knowledge and confidence to lead their communities, participate in democracy, and build a government that serves the many, not the few.
