Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) is a series of breathing exercises based on Dr. Donald Epstein’s book “The 12 Stages of Healing” and designed to help the brain to reconnect with the body & its experience. SRI offers you new options in your experience of your body and your personal healing. It educates you to your body's rhythms and inner wisdom through focused attention, gentle breath, movement and touch. It allows each individual access to their body’s natural healing rhythms to create a new sense of safety, inner strength, trust, and empowerment for living.

In the first half of this class, participants will learn how to uncover hidden aspects of the self that unconsciously keep us from moving forward in life. This is done through the concept of “merging with the shadow”, which may expose certain underlying beliefs, fears, doubts, confusion, or anxieties limiting true potential.

The second half focuses on aligning with the state of readiness and preparing to resolve these underlying patterns. Leave feeling confident in your ability to transform unconscious patterns into pure potential and a readiness to create effortless change in life.

What to expect:

•An increase in your ability to uncover any unconscious patterns within the body and and the feeling of forward life momentum.

•A better understanding of SRI, its purpose, and how to apply each of the exercises in daily living.

What to bring:

•Yoga mat, water bottle, comfortable clothing, pen & journal.

No prior experience necessary or class prerequisites. You may take this class without having taken any prior classes.
