Out of th Blue 51st Anniversary Celebration

Join Goodwill Industries of East Texas for Out of the Blue, a celebration of 51 years of serving and empowering East Texans.

Enjoy an afternoon of lunch, a silent auction, our specialty Blue’tique, and a live style show featuring fabulous Goodwill finds.

This year’s theme, From Barrier to Breakthrough, celebrates the people behind our mission—the individuals who have faced obstacles, discovered new possibilities, and transformed opportunity into success.

We are honored to welcome Jim Gibbs, former President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International, as our keynote speaker. Gibbs, who is visually impaired, brings a powerful personal perspective to this year’s theme and will share a message of overcoming barriers, recognizing potential, and creating pathways to opportunity.

Hear inspiring stories of how Goodwill is helping East Texans overcome barriers through skills training, employment opportunities, and support services that empower them to build brighter futures.

Celebrate 51 years of impact and the breakthroughs still to come.
