The Rose Bowl Tavern in downtown Urbana
"Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
All Hallows eve is the date,
For our most sinister fete.
Kings of drag will entertain,
Photos too if ye be vain.
Cloth of black shall no doubt swath,
Dancers to our music (goth).
El Paraiso is a treat,
If you need to stop and eat.Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Come to Rose Bowl if you mean,
To have a magic Halloween."
~~~Bat Factory is brewing up a bewitching Halloween at the Rose Bowl! The veil lifts at 8:30pm and drops at 2:00am
Pre-sale tickets are lucky $13 (plus fees) and door tickets are $20. Halloween often sells out so we encourage buying pre-sale tickets if possible. We can’t wait to have hex with you all!
Kari’s Occasions will be painting enchanting visions on your visage; JPEG 2000 will capture your likeness (and perhaps your soul) at his photobooth; and El Paraiso will tempt you with their Latin American fare. Alexander Audiophile and DJ Tim Williams will be on the decks spinning spellbinding sounds.
You will be ensorcelled by our evening’s entertainment! We have the seductive Cecil Sparks and the enchanting Count Rackula who will be performing before and after our captivating costume contest, all presided over by the entrancing Cupid Stunt. If your early evening plans involve doing the Time Warp (again), we hope you will make your way to Rose Bowl afterwards! Our costume contest will take place at 11, so you should have time to mount your broomsticks and make it on time. Costumes always encouraged, never expected. A witchy theme has hypnotized us, but dress however you like, darlings!
