Community Self-Reliance Groups

These classes will be held weekly on Sundays 3:30-5:30 PM at 3040 N Vernal Ave Chapel and run for 12 weeks. Classes will be completed by Thanksgiving.

• Finding Strength in the Lord-Emotional Resilience: This group will help you learn spiritual and practical skills to help each of us better care for our body, mind, emotions, and relationships. As you attend this course, work with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to know how to apply what you learn to your life and the lives of those you love. These meetings will be a safe place for honest sharing as this group follows the principle of confidentiality and uses language and behavior that invites the Spirit. You are invited to share personal experiences; rather than focusing on problems, share solutions you have found or that you would like to try.
• Personal Finances: For those who want better control over their finances. Group members will learn how to eliminate debt, protect against financial hardship, and invest in the future. They will create a financial plan and follow a budget. Spouses are encouraged to attend together.
• Education for a Better Job: For those who need additional education or training to get a job. Group members.
