The Encounter - A worship experience with Jesus

You don't need another church service.

You've been to the good ones. Lights hit, band was tight, message was solid. You felt something in the room and then you sat in your car afterward and it was already gone.

That's not a knock on the church. That's a diagnosis of a generation that has learned how to feel something and never meet Someone.

The Encounter is not a service. There is no stage. There is no setlist. There are no spectators.

What this actually is

A room set in a circle. A band that doesn't know what's next. An open Bible in the middle. Phones secured at the door — not to control you, but because you cannot encounter God with one eye on a notification.

Word, worship, and prayer happening at the same time, for as long as He wants it. That's the whole plan. We're not producing a moment. We're preparing a room and getting out of the way.

Before you come

On July 27, a 14-day fast and consecration begins. It's called the Deeper Door. It's not required to attend — it's what makes attending mean something. People show up to this room prepared, not curious.

From the moment you RSVP at encounteredbyjesus.com, a daily devotional starts. That's the preparation. It begins the day you say yes.

Believers who are tired of performing. People who walked away and never stopped believing. Anyone done with Christianity as a personality and hungry for Christ as a Person. If you're curious — come. If you're skeptical — come. Just come ready.

After

There's a door out of that room into discipleship — Word, Worship, Prayer, Fasting, in a small circle of people who'll actually know your name. Nobody gets pressured. It's there if you want it.
