AU SIS OCD Social Impact Alumni Networking Reception

Join SIS alumni and current students for a networking reception interested in advancing social impact across government, multilateral organizations, nonprofits, think tanks, consulting firms, the private sector, and more.

In collaboration with the Environment, Deveopment, and Health, and the Peace, Human Rights, and Cultural Relations departments, the SIS Office of Career Development invites you to an evening of conversation and connection with fellow SIS alumni and current students interested in careers in social impact.

We are seeking alumni to participate in this reception and share their professional experiences with students. The event will begin with an alumni panel exploring the evolving social impact landscape. Panelists will discuss their career journeys, highlight the range of pathways available within the field, and offer practical advice to students interested in building careers that create meaningful change.

Following the panel, alumni will have the opportunity to network directly with current SIS students, share insights about their roles and organizations, and help students better understand the many career possibilities available across sectors.

This is not a recruiting event, and alumni are not expected to attend on behalf of or formally represent their employers. Rather, it is an opportunity to share your individual experiences, reconnect with the SIS community, and support students as they begin navigating their own professional journeys.

Whether you are interested in serving as a panelist or participating in the networking portion of the evening, we would be delighted to have you join us!
