The Sojourn:

An Archetypal Journey through the Zodiac

A 16 Week Program

*
This program is the ultimate cross-cultural, mythologically rich, archetypal deep-dive of understanding the meaning, history & application of the Zodiac!

Esoteric Vedic Astrology * Astronomy * Cultural History, Myth & Starlore * Ancient, Animist & Applied Astrological Wisdom * Depth & Developmental Psychology * Ritual & Embodiment

Embark on an immersive journey through the Zodiac: a cross-cultural exploration of the symbols, myths, stories, and archetypal wisdom that have guided much of humanity for millennia.

You’ll never look at a sign of the Zodiac the same way ever again. This will make astrology rich beyond the wilds of your imagination. Each astrological “sign” will no longer be a sign, but a symbolically fertile ground for a new way of beholding the basic patterns of the cosmos.

The Sojourn is a mythologically abundant, experiential deep-dive into the history, meaning, and practical application of the Zodiac. It is one of the most cross-cultural mapping systems we have to support the human soul and the light of the heart as we embark on this journey through Earthschool. Drawing from diverse astrological traditions, starlore, medical astrology, mystical frameworks, and contemporary depth psychology, this 16-week program invites participants to cultivate a deeper relationship with the cosmos, the cycles of nature, and the pilgrimage of life’s own inner landscape. Part cultural repair, part deep remembering, part honoring and exalting the wisdom of our ancestors, this program is here to tend the alchemical cosmos during these transformative times.

Together, we'll explore:

• Esoteric Vedic Astrology
• The Astronomy of the Zodiac
• Cultural History, Myth, and Starlore from Indo-European & Semitic Cultures
• Ancient, Animist, and Applied Astrological Wisdom
• Jungian, Depth and Developmental Psychology
• The Embodiment of Archetypal Symbolism of the Soul’s Journey
• The Zodiac as a journey for personal growth, self-inquiry, and transformation

Whether you're new to astrology or looking to deepen an existing practice, this course offers a unique, interdisciplinary approach that bridges an absolutely unique mosaic of spiritual wisdom traditions.

~Breakdown of the 16 weeks~

• 8/12 - 9/23: Pisces-Virgo
• 9/30 - 10/14: 3 weeks of integration and recorded video downloads straight from the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain, while Frank is on his own sojourn rambling through his ancestral homelands. Companion assignments will include pilgrimage rituals, contemplations and practices to support you on your own mystic sojourn as we cross the threshold from the first half of the zodiac and enter into Libra and the second half of the great wheel of life.
• 10/21 - 11/25: Libra-Pisces

What is The School of Celestial Illumination?

This is not your typical astrology school. These classes are a mosaic of community offerings and teachings that weave together astrology and divination with an ancestral understanding of ethnoastronomy, myth & cultural astronomy, modern healing modalities, and most of all an embodied, animate relationship to the sky. The classes offered here will be a fusion of Indo-european and Semitic astrologies, mixed with contemporary western and archetypal astrology…and always an action-packed mythopoetics to feed your imagination.

***Navigation Directions***

Once on Sanford Way, take a right around the barn, then take the second right up a hill (there will be signs at that intersection that say “wild abundance .1 miles to the left” and another sign that’s a green arrow pointing to the right.) Take that right and it’s the first house on the left.
