Slow down, soften, and let yourself be held. Restorative yoga is the art of active relaxation: a practice of gentle, fully supported postures held with the help of props. It invites the nervous system to settle and the body to release what it's been carrying.
No experience needed; all bodies and all levels are warmly welcome.
Mats, bolsters, blankets and other props are provided for anyone who needs them. You are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
Suggested donation $15 for members, $20 for guests, paid directly to the teacher. Pay what you can; all are welcome. Venmo @pauline-chin-6. Your free ticket here is just an RSVP.
On-site directions: Please enter through the School Street door, turn left to go up the stairs, take a right at the top of the stairs, and the Moon Room is on the left.
Class meets every Sunday. More info at commonstreet.org/calendar
