About This Event

Cozy Comedy Co-Founder, award-winning writer, & hilarious local comedian Travis Sherer and award-winning actor/writer Cara Rosselini kicking off comedy at Pinnacle Beerwoks in Wenatchee!

Travis Sherer is a founder of Cozy Comedy. An award-winning humor columnist, Travis' comedy is fueled by the tiny slights he experiences daily, primarily by his family. From his mother who says his headshots look great because he looks like his brother, to his wife who calls his comedy "not overly masculine," Travis airs his grievances on stage because it's easier than setting boundaries.

An overmatched father of two girls, Travis examines the indignities of parenthood and reflects on the realization that jokes are the way he can fight back. Travis has performed in comedy clubs, casinos, and festivals across the country. He's headlined in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. He's worked with some of the best comics in the world, including Gary Gulman, Marc Maron, Maria Bamford, Kyle Kinane, Kevin Nealon and more! iHe even lost at poker once to Ray Ramano.

Cara Rosellini is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer who began her career in Los Angeles before moving to Seattle with her family to continue performing and creating. She started in the LA open mic scene and worked her way up to performing in clubs up and down the West Coast, including the Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, Rooster T. Feathers, and Tacoma Comedy Club. Cara has competed twice in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and is a regular at Club Comedy Seattle and Laugh’s Comedy Club. In addition to comedy clubs, she performs at corporate events, churches, breweries, living rooms—and once even performed a set in the back of a van.

As an actor, Cara has appeared in several stage productions, including Collected Stories by Donald Margulies and That May Well Be True by Jay Reiss. She starred in the short film Three Sides, which won Best Short at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival. Since returning to Seattle, she has written, produced, and starred in three short films that screened at festivals including the Blue Whiskey Film Festival in Chicago, Local Sightings Film Festival at Seattle’s Northwest Film Forum, and the Freehold Film Festival. She continues to act in film and commercials while writing and producing projects inspired by the humor—and occasional challenges—of everyday life.
